Playback and streaming options for the "Thamanya" app
We provide you with options to help you control better: navigate quickly within the content, change the picture quality according to internet speed, and control the sound during matches. Some of these options are available to everyone in recorded content, and some are dedicated to subscribers in live match broadcasts in the Thamanyah app.
Playback Options
You can control content playback through the following options:
1. Fast Forward and Rewind
On mobile, you can fast forward or rewind 15 seconds with a single tap, or use the progress bar.
On the website and TV screens, you use the progress bar to navigate within the content.
2. Picture Quality Options
In live broadcasts, you can change the picture quality according to internet speed: low, medium, high. Maximum quality is available for some matches when available, and it is dedicated to subscribers.
In recorded content, all quality options are available to all users.
Viewing quality depends on your connection speed. Check the requirements to know the recommended speed.

You can choose between crowd sound or commentator sound at any time during the match, for all matches.
5. Watching Multiple Matches
The mobile app allows you to watch up to 3 live matches simultaneously. You can select a primary match whose sound will be activated automatically during multi-viewing.
6. Full-Screen and Device Orientation Control "Mobile"
The video player on mobile devices supports displaying live matches in full-screen mode, and you can control it through the following options:

Enter Full-Screen Mode: You can open the match in full screen by pressing the expand button inside the video player, or by manually rotating the device to landscape mode.

Control during Multi-Window Display: If you are watching more than one match at the same time and want to open one of them in full screen, you must first click on the desired match to automatically switch it to the primary broadcast, then you can use the expand button or rotate the device to open it in full screen.

Lock Landscape Mode: To avoid automatic screen rotation and return to portrait mode when moving during viewing, you can activate the horizontal orientation lock option from the control toolbar in the video player to maintain stable display throughout the match.

Exit Full-Screen Mode: To return to normal or multi-window view, you can press the screen minimize button or unlock rotation and return your mobile device to portrait mode.

2. Why is the maximum quality option not showing in live broadcasts?
Maximum quality in live broadcasts is available for some matches only according to availability from the producer, and it is dedicated to subscribers. If it does not appear, it is not available "from the source" for this match.
3. Is the option to watch more than one match available on the website and smart screens?
This feature is currently available on mobile only.
4. Why does the picture quality drop automatically?
The quality may drop automatically when internet speed is weak. Check the requirements to know the recommended speed.
5. Are sound preferences available in recorded content?
Sound preferences between the crowd and commentator are available in live match broadcasts only.

Yes, the mobile player supports full-screen mode during live match viewing. You can enter this mode by pressing the expand button inside the player, or by rotating your mobile device to landscape mode. To exit, press the screen minimize button or return the device to portrait mode.
7. How do I open a match in full screen while using the watch multiple matches feature?
When the watch multiple matches feature is activated, first click on the match you want to focus on to automatically switch it to the primary broadcast so its screen size becomes larger and its sound is activated. Then, you can switch this match to full-screen mode via the expand button or by rotating the device horizontally.
8. The broadcast returns to portrait mode automatically when moving the mobile, how do I lock it?
To avoid screen rotation during viewing, you can activate the horizontal orientation lock feature available directly inside the video player once the match is switched to full-screen mode, ensuring the live broadcast remains stable on the full screen.
